Having toured most of the UK and supporting the like of Jack Penate and Son of Dave, Hijak Oscar have made a name for their selves even on the likes of Channel 4 after making the early stages of the MobileAct unsigned competition.

With the release of their second album, Black Sheep Money Box, complimented with the Hellbound tour, blues band HijaK Oscar are still creating mayhem and music on the platform they solely created.

Carol Anne Showband
The Carol-Anne Showband, despite a fairly cool name, could have been one of a million groups of bedroom rock stars. That is until they walked on stage and unleashed the most filthy sleazy punked up folk blues since Sid Vicious outbid the devil for Robert Johnson’s soul on that cross-roads way back when.

Occasionally half a ray of sixties pop shone up from the bottom of the swamp but mostly this was a folked up urban blues sound so nasty I swear it was touching up the girls dancing in the audience… and they loved it!!

Ruberlaris
From the depths of Derbyshire, a band that has been credited highly for there live performances and it’s don’t-give-a-crap attitude, Ruberlaris.

Influenced by life’s attributes and some of music’s finest artists, they mix all aspects of life and the many music genres to create what can be only described as their own style on the genre spectrum.

With a plenty of gigs now under their belt, including an appearance at last year’s FreeFest , Ruberlaris are still producing themselves to break the music mould.
